Cervical screening results Posted or Updated on 18 Nov 2025

Please note from the 1st of September 2025 all normal cervical screening results will be sent to patients NHS App then as a failsafe as a text message, all ABNORMAL results the patient will be contacted by telephone or letter. 

The nurse or doctor will tell you when you can expect your results.

If you've waited longer than you expected, call your GP surgery to see if they have any updates.
